Celebrating the pipe organ, the King of Instruments |
The Flentrop Organ in Duke University Chapel, Durham, NC
Duke University’s 1976 Flentrop Pipe Organ of nearly 5,000 pipes. Built in the manner of 18th century Dutch organs, this instrument is played by mechanical key-action and is enclosed in a resonating, all-wood case which stands on its own balcony at the rear of the chapel.
